One is for the money and two is for the gangsta

March 12

12mi, 1:19:49 (Hills): 2mi WU, 8xParkway Hill, 2mi CD. 2:38, :38, :35, :33, :29, :29, :25, :24. Excellent wkout, all things considered. Totally thought this was going to be zee Baz Judd, and we're talkin' totally here. But le Fromage gave me zee cheezy eenzpirazion. Lotz of zee zand on zee hill, zo zee form (not zee from) became zee focus. Extended zee stride and stayed, how you zaye, relaxed in me khaks, no? Zees ees, how you zaye, charactairrre conflazione? Roysh.

A cooldown for Karl Malone? Collin changed his middle name? Biz predicting the future, both today and in May? I'm all sorts of confused.

March 12: 7 or so with Nick. Slow and easy along the river, with a couple bursts up the hills. 5 strides. Then banana pancakes.

Tuesday AM: actually ran. I'm as shocked as you all are. 4.5, usual loop, beautiful warm weather, but the legs, lungs, and stomach were not in sync with each other which reminds me why I don't run in the morning.

PM: longest bus ride home ever, followed by lots of yummy cheetos!

Damn, sorry I missed you Biz. Reminds me to mention - whenever any of you pass through the DC/Northern Va area, I've got a couch to crash on and a big slow Illini fan to run faster than.

5 miles in the shadow of the ore dock (W2W is so soon). Felt like I hadn't run in years. Even I have come to enjoy the nice weather we've been having. Considering the Human Race (8k). Great post Biz! I'm glad you're well over that back shite that was bugging you last whenever that was.

Tuesday, March 13: 5 or so with Nick, mystery ramble around parts of NE. Achilles a touch tight during/after. From the looks of things, may be the last of the beautiful outdoor weather. That's a bummer, man.

Late with the posting from 3.5-3.11:

Week: 27 mi. Only one gorgeous afternoon of skiing on freshly groomed trails in 30 degree sunshine.

Two workouts - 4 miles at 6:15 pace in the midst of a 6 mi. run, and 8x2:15 hills midway through my 8 mi. long run. Accomplished on separate days...

Ordered some new shoes!

Hooley Ma,

I hope and trust that Solidarity has no tolerance for sarcasm :)

I'll keep at it with the workouts, but will save the racing for a later date. All about building strength and a certain adaptation to hilly stress for the long run in Sept.
